Needed a timing chain for my 1951 Pontiac Straight 8 with the 268 4.4L Straight 8, Hydramatic Drive. The original chain on the car is 7 links at the wider section and 6 at the narrower section. It is 28 links long. According to California Pontiac Restorations, the chain they sent me is the only one in there whole parts catalog that fits the straight 8s. It is 5 links at the wider section and 6 at the narrower section. This is not correct. It is however 28 links long which is correct.
